What type of service projects do Rotary clubs do? |

Rotarians initiate community projects that address many of today’s most critical issues, such as violence, drug abuse, youth, AIDS, hunger, the environment, and illiteracy. Rotary clubs are autonomous and determine service projects based on local needs. |

What is PolioPlus? |

PolioPlus is Rotarys commitment to work with national and international health organizations on the goal of polio eradication by the year 2005, Rotarys 100th anniversary. More than one billion children in developing nations have been immunized against polio through PolioPlus grants. |

What do you do at the weekly meeting? |

|
Our meeting always includes a delicious dinner served by the Marriott Hotel! Dinner time is also a time for fellowship between members and guests. Dinner is followed by announcements and often times a discussion about upcoming projects. Each meeting includes a guest speaker from our community. Topics vary greatly from information about Sheas Performing Arts to health and wellness. We are always looking for great speakers. What causes does Amherst North Rotary support? |

Information about our projects and fundraisers can be found on our website and is constantly being updated. One of our major projects is the annual TV auction on Adelphia Cable Television.
